The castle is located in the Prądnik Valley, in the Ojców National Park. Of the entire building, the gate, tower, well and the faint remains of walls have survived to this day. The defensive nature of the object is evidenced by the location on a steep slope, and the thickness of the walls - 1.5 m, shooting holes in the gate tower and defensive towers. Once, it was entered by a bridge built on stone pillars, which can be seen today. From the southern side of the complex there was a residential building and a chapel. Heading deep into the ruins, you can see a deep well. The castle was built during the reign of Casimir the Great in the second half of the fourteenth century. Its building material is hewn limestone. According to legends, there was a stronghold here before, built by the Prince of Lechicki - brother-in-law of Popiel, who was to build several strongholds in the Prądnik valley to defend against Germanic invasions. The castle serves as a viewpoint, and in the gate tower, which was renovated in the 20th century, a small exhibition devoted to the history of the castle was organized. The facility is open to visitors from April 10 to October 31 from from 10.00 to 16.45 Price list: regular ticket: 2.50 PLN reduced-price ticket: 1.50 PLN
