The name of the cave comes from the rich fossil remains found and living bat species today. Colloquially also called the White Cave, due to its limestone structure. The Nieboperzowa Cave is located in the group of rocks of the upper part of the Będkowska Valley, it is one of the largest caves in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, it is 306 m long. From an archaeological point of view, the Nieboperzowa Cave is known primarily as an Upper Paleolithic site. Its creation dates back to 38,000 years ago. It was probably a cave bear camp. Jerzmanowice hunters, representing representatives of human groups already referred to as Homo sapiens, were the creators of flint arrowheads and javelins discovered here, representing the so-called Jerzmanowice culture. Near the entrance to the cave there is a blue walking Trail of Jurassic Strongholds and several local tourist bicycle routes.
