I am on the Wiercica River. Originally, it was named by Zygmunt Krasiński in 1857 - Staw Gorzkich Tears. Here the poet mourned the death of his 4-year-old daughter Elżbieta. The name of the pond was changed by the Raczyński family in honor of the American senator, who brought the breeding party of rainbow trout eggs from America to Zloty Potok. The pond is an interesting place for family recreation. In the summer season it turns into a bathing beach. Then the Rope Park operates here. Around the pond there are campsites, beach football pitches and Złotockock meadows where outdoor events take place - Jurassic Film Summer and Trout Festival. We can also use a bike rental here. The pond is stocked by the Regional Angling Association and made available to anglers. Angling competitions and Gold Panning competitions take place there. Next to the pond there is a green trail leading to the sources of Elżbieta and Zygmunt.
