This is one of the shortest valleys near Kraków, but very attractive in terms of views. A few hundred meters from the Bolechowice Gate, going deeper into the valley, there is a two-stage waterfall - a rarity in the Krakow-Częstochowa Upland. The slopes of the valley in its lower part are covered with oak-hornbeam forests, mixed forest with a predominance of Scots pine and sessile oak dominates. On deforested, steep slopes there are xerothermic grasslands. The limestone that builds the valley comes from the Jurassic period. They are mainly rocky, reef-like limestone with admixtures of crumb limestone. The Bolechowicka Valley is covered by reserve protection - in the southern part of the valley there is the Bolechowicki Gorge nature reserve.
