These are the ruins of the castle from the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. At the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries the castle was rebuilt into a Renaissance palace. It was destroyed during the Swedish Deluge and was not rebuilt. In the second half of the 19th century, treasure hunters blew up the only surviving part of the castle - the tower and walls of the lower castle. In the reconstructed gate there is an exhibition dedicated to the history of the castle. Every year, on the first weekend of July, knights' tournaments take place under the castle. The ruins are located on the Trail of the Eagles' Nests.
