This is one of the objects of the Częstochowa Museum. It is located in the park of Stanisław Staszic right next to the Jasna Góra Monastery. The permanent exhibition 'History of Iron Ore Mining' is located here, it was realized in underground corridors hollowed out in 1974–1976 between the Exhibition Pavilions of the Częstochowa Museum in the Park. Stanisław Staszic. It is in its entirety a model of the most characteristic for iron ore mining underground excavations on a natural scale. In the aforementioned 1970s, former mine excavations were restored here, equipped with mining equipment from the closed Szczekaczka iron ore mine in Szczekaczka. However, in the 1980s, the underground exhibition was closed due to flooded corridors and lack of funds for renovation. The Re-mining Museum of Iron Ore was opened to visitors on May 15, 2008. At that time, in the renovated facility, the new permanent exhibition was modified and supplemented with a new artistic arrangement. To visit the museum, you must buy a ticket at the ticket office of the Częstochowa Museum.
